On Wilderness Group Expeditions, students leave behind the everyday distractions and social expectations that impede the process of discovery and learning. Whether climbing a mountain, paddling across the wilderness, or sailing a boat far down the coast, participants engage in activities with a real purpose and overcome challenges through problem solving, leadership, tenacity and teamwork. Away from their familiar, predictable home environments, they must stretch beyond their preconceived limits to help succeed in a great goal as a team.

Negi Sports helps participants tie the collaboration, values and achievements realized in the wilderness to personal excellence, leadership, care for community and direction-setting in their lives at school, work and
home. Wilderness Group Expeditions are run year-round and are generally 3 to 10 days long. Group sizes vary from 35 to 80 participants depending upon location and activity. Some expeditions work out of a base camp setting and some are entirely mobile.
